What do i get upto on thanksgiving day?
I always bet with my mum and dad and last time they said if i think of 5 things god has give me than i would get £10.00 or else i had to wash the dishes for a month! Being me obviously i would say yes! xD
Well first of all to have a meal you have to make it so i decide to help my mum cook! That's one thing i'm lucky to have :)
It always gets messy in the kitchen! :P
Last year it looked like someone had painted the kitchen white with all that flour in the there! :O
I enjoy cooking, especially with my mum :)
If you put lots of effort into something you get good results well not all the time :s (apart from the burnt meat that mum left in the cooker for too long) lol
We usually have for our feast:
turkey
cranberry sauce
honey ham
lots of dips and sauces! Yum! ( My dad is spanish )
Wine! ( Im too young to drink alcohol so i drink beer instead lol)
When we begin to eat there is always a fight for the drum sticks before o.e
No wonder, I live with 10 ppl in the house -.-
My selfish brothers always get the drumsticks but this time im going to get it :DD
Thats another thing im lucky for, food and water.
Oh i forgot to mention my mum has this embarrassing tradition to wear a turkey costume
and have a sing'along :3
Last time it was my turn and my nextdoor neighbours knocked on the door and through the window they could see me dancing and talking, i mean singing well it looked like talking anyway :s
My neighbours just happen to be my friends! Oh thats another thing im lucky to have :)
After that my brothers fight...
As usual! When they were busy me and my sister went into our room and we made a enormous thanksgiving day banner! It was soo much fun making it apart from getting glitter all over my shoes o.e
My sister last last year made cards with me! Its fun having a sister! I guess thats another thing im lucky for, resources! Just one more to go, till ive got £10.00! :DD
Our teachers would always stop by and hi! Oh the final thing! Im lucky to have an education! Not many people do in other countries which is soo sad :(
My dads family live in a poor country and dont get very much!
Im very lucky to have all of these things also a £10.00 note! :DDD
